BACKGROUND: Frailty is a health condition related to aging and dependence. A reduction in or delay of the frailty state can improve the quality of life of the elderly. However, providing frailty assessments can be difficult because many factors must be taken into account.
OBJECTIVE: To determine the effectiveness of implementation of a prevention programme via mobile phone text messaging in enhancing knowledge, attitudes and practice concerning iodine deficiency and iodized salt consumption.
PURPOSE: The purpose of the study was to develop a health education program, named "i-exerM," utilizing the mail function of the mobile phone and affect its effects setting body weight reduction as the achievement target.
