BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Immunization is a rapidly evolving field, and teachers of family medicine are responsible for ensuring that they and their students are knowledgeable about the latest vaccine recommendations.

3Dme are creative 3D digital story-tellers with a passion for making complex health and medical information comprehensible. They have an enviable ability to understand a broad range of health and medical topics and present them in an accurate and visually engaging manner.
In our previous projects, students and residents have readily adopted personal digital assistants (PDAs), but faculty have generally been reluctant. The objective of the project reported here was to maximize adoption of PDAs by our faculty, using a combination of strategies.
Both teachers and students benefit from an interactive classroom. The teacher receives valuable input about effectiveness, student interest, and comprehension, whereas student participation, active learning, and enjoyment of the class are enhanced.
